Hotel and Madhus – Rumogrooms

Rumogrooms is peacefully located next to fields in Brundby, in the middle of the island, where you are close to everything.

We have 9 rooms, some with private toilet and bath, others have to share. Where you share toilet and bath there is a bathrobe in the room.

Check in from 3 pm to 7 pm. (If you know your arrival time, please let us know).

It is set up with cotton linen, a small and large towel per guest.

There is shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathrooms.

We have two larger rooms for conferences and parties, so please note that we currently only have one room on the ground floor.

We serve a lovely breakfast with good coffee and tea.

Our breakfast is made on shared plates, so you eat together with those you have checked in with. There is fruit, cheese, sausage, butter, jam and a type of egg every day. In addition, homemade buns, rye bread and the island’s good apple juice. If you stay in hotels, the price is DKK 95,-

If you come in “from the street”, the price is DKK 150,- including coffee and tea.

When you get home from today’s excursion, we have coffee and cake in the bar, a drink or a good glass of wine.

In high season we eat together

We have communal meals where guests eat together. Some days we are around the table ourselves, other days we are in the kitchen.

We like to serve Sashi beef with local vegetables from the fields around the hotel, other days we serve fish.

If you want vegetarian or vegan, this is also an option, as long as we know it.

If you have a gluten allergy, we will bake delicious bread, as long as we know you will come and eat with us.

We serve dinner at 6:30 PM for those who wish, as long as you book a place the day before or at the latest the same day for breakfast.

Company trip to Samsø

We love having groups at Rumogrooms who rent the entire hotel.

We can also offer groups up to 100 people, but then some of the guests will have to sleep in nearby cottages, B&Bs and hotels, where the guests can go home.

In the low season we are happy to help you organize your days around beautiful Samsø for groups of all sizes. Tell us about your wishes and we will make it happen. Both here at the hotel and in the nature around Samsø.

Rumogrooms serves locally sourced, fresh food, as organic as possible. The bar always has a cold drink, a draft beer or a nice bottle of wine.

We have been fortunate to have Martine as a Growth Pilot in 2023, for which we received a grant.
